Reaching Real Consumers with Impending Home Projects
Consumers with impending home projects are a hard target audience to reach – search yields so many who “are just looking”, and social media can be more of a “design fan club” unless you are using enterprise-level campaign tools. Purchasing a home magazine however shows clear intent – these consumers not only have projects but are looking for inspiration and ideas to get them done. That’s where magazines do well – we show ideas to copy at home. At the end of 2020 we asked some of our audience members what they thought about our media, and picked up a lot of comments about their projects along the way. These people are all renovating, building, or have just moved in to new homes.
