15 Million Aussies are Reading Print & Digital Magazines

12 of 17 Magazine Categories are Up

In the last four weeks, Grand Designs Australia has reached 194,000 people and Home Design has reached 104,000 people, according to the December 2022 figures just released by the authoritative and independent third-party Readership Poll conducted by Roy Morgan Research.

Both Grand Designs Australia and Home Design are multi-platform publications, delivering content via print, web and Apple News, which are picked up via the Roy Morgan Survey.

“We are extremely pleased to see these mediums perform so well in this readership poll,” said Publisher Janice Williams.

Print Media Remains Strong

“This latest survey is very positive for print magazines in general, with 12 of 17 categories showing growth,” said Williams. “Magazines generally won new customers during the Covid years and it would appear that some of that gain has stuck.”

Although Grand Designs Australia has a granular focus on ‘people with projects’, the print edition at 177,000 remains well above Belle at 125,000, and Inside Out at 121,000.
