We’re looking for a Website Content Intern to join our creative and digital team

A major Australian media company is looking for a superstar website content intern 1- 2 days per week to work across our exciting ecommerce websites and their associated blogs and social media accounts. You will pick the best content from our popular magazines, re-write and re-purpose it for web and social and publish it to our readers and followers. You will learn about writing and editing for websites, picking content that performs and building audiences.

Responsibilities will include: 

• Choosing and prioritizing articles from our magazines and organising this into your library of website content.
• Assisting with the scheduling and creation of email newsletters.
• Posting content to our WordPress blogs and social media accounts.
• Data Validation – check all fields are correct and understood.
• Participating in brainstorms and strategy meetings.
• Ad-hoc duties.

Desired Experience:

• Currently studying journalism, communications, digital marketing or similar.
• Strong writing skills with excellent grammar and spelling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Photoshop.
• Previous experience of Magento 2.0 (not essential).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment on multiple projects.
• Enjoys crafting.
